The Border and his family

Because he is affectionate, loving and receptive he is an ideal dog to offer a young child.
The Border is without doubt the source of daily happiness.
The Border is a dog of moderate size easy to take anywhere with you.
Nothing bothers him and he knows how to be very discrete if necessary.
He has a fun character and is very bubbly. He can be totally calm in the house especially if you are not available for him.
He doesn't bark excessively so, therefore, you will have no problems with your neighbours.
In the country as in the town all environments suit him.
He is extremely tender with young children, he is never brutal and his movements are graceful. As he is a very strong and particularly tough dog he can be with you whatever sport you are practising.

He runs quickly and swims beautifully.
Neither stubborn nor pigheaded his training is very easy and should never be brutal.

A Border is never aggressive with his fellow Borders.
He can easily be with large or small pedigrees without you having to worry.
With a happy and loyal temperament he will even be friends with cats or the tortoise in the garden.
